教育背景
王方刚博士分别于2005年、2010年获得北京邮电大学通信工程、信号与信息处理专业学士、博士学位，博士期间曾访问纽约哥伦比亚大学电子工程系为期近两年，毕业后在香港中文大学网络编码研究所担任博士后研究员为期两年。曾以访问学者身份访问麻省理工学院（MIT）信息与决策系统实验室为期一年。
现为北京交通大学轨道交通控制与安全国家重点实验室教授、博士生导师。积极参与教学、科研、研究生指导、及学术交流工作。承担包括国家自然基金等纵向课题、企业合作、以及学校、学院教改项目，开设主干课通信原理全英文课程、无线通信新技术留学生课程。发表IEEE Transactions on Information Theory、IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications、IEEE Wireless Communications、IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing、IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications、IEEE Transactions on Communications等若干期刊论文，及IEEE ICC、IEEE GLOBECOM、IEEE ISIT、Allerton等通信、信息论旗舰会议论文。
