个人简历

男，教授，生于1965年，博士研究生学历，博士学位，博士生导师。1987年毕业于中山大学大气科学系，1993年在中国科学院大气物理研究所获得博士学位，1995-1998年在美国俄克拉荷马（Oklahoma）大学风暴分析与预报中心（CAPS）做博士后工作。2013年入选中国气象局科技领军人才，中国气象科学研究院灾害天气国家重点实验室副主任，中国气象科学研究院-中国民用航空局空中交通管理局“航空气象研究联合实验室”主任。从1987年开始即从事短时风暴数值预报模式的研究和开发工作，1993年博士毕业后留中国科学院大气物理研究所工作，在此期间主要的研究工作集中在建立、发展和完善一个旨在用于灾害性中尺度对流天气系统研究和预报的非静力对流风暴数值预报模式，并进行了一系列的中尺度动力理论研究。1995-2000年在美国俄克拉荷马（Oklahoma）大学风暴分析与预报中心（CAPS）作为博士后和高级研究科学家进行风暴数值预报和分析的研究工作，是ARPS（Advanced Regional Prediction System）模式系统的主要开发者和改进者之一，在模式的动力框架、数值计算技术、模式物理过程以及卫星雷达资料同化等方面做了大量的模式基础性研究开发工作，该模式系统可以用于多尺度数值天气预报的业务应用和理论研究，并因此荣获2001年度俄克拉荷马大学创新奖。2000-2005年在美国航天航空局研究中心工作，相继担任NASA CRYSTAL-FACE科学组首席研究员（PI），主持高分辨率云系统模拟和资料分析同化，并于2003年获NASA团体成就奖。2005年底，作为中国气象局特别引进人才，担任灾害天气国家重点实验室常务副主任。担任世界气象组织THORPEX亚洲区域委员会委员, THORPEX中国委员会委员，中国气象局工程咨询专家，中国气象学会天气学、热带气象学、高原气象学和数值预报等专业委员会委员，《Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Letters》、《Journal of Tropical Meteorology》、《大气科学》、《气象学报》、《应用气象学报》、《热带气象学报》、《暴雨灾害》、《气象科技进展》等专业期刊编委。
