1984年入浙江大学，1991年在浙江大学获得物理学博士学位；1994-1996中国科学院理论物理研究所博士后；1996-1997比利时安特卫普大学物理系NFWO访问博士后；1997-1999德国的马克斯·普朗克研究所（复杂系统物理所）访问科学家；1999-2000意大利萨莱诺大学物理系博士后；2000.8-2000.12德国马克斯·普朗克研究所（复杂系统物理所）访问科学家；2000年入选中国科学院“百人计划”，任中国科学院化学研究所高分子物理与化学国家重点实验室研究员，博士生导师；2010调入北京师范大学物理系。主持、参加过国家级科研项目16项，其中两次作为国家基金委重大项目课题负责人。 教学经历: 2006∼2008： 负责组织中科院研究生院《高分子物理专题讲座》（60学时） 2008： 在中国科学院研究生院主讲《高分子物理理论》（60学时） 2010∼2012： 在北京师范大学物理学系讲授本科生《光学》课程（48学时） 2011∼2012： 在北京师范大学物理系开设选修课《软物质物理导论》课程（60学时） 2012∼2015： 在北京师范大学励耘班讲授《普通物理学》课程（100∼120学时）， 在物理系讲授《光学》课程（60学时） 2016年起： 在物理系讲授《热学》（40学时）、《热力学统计物理》（100∼学时）课程
