2002年毕业于北京大学医学部临床医学专业，获医学学士学位。此后在英国伦敦大学学院（University College London, UCL）解剖与发育生物学系神经科学专业进行博士研究，重点关注老年痴呆（Alzheimer's disease）转基因小鼠海马神经网络动力学变化及其与动物病理学及行为学变化的相关性。合作导师John O’Keefe教授于上世纪70年代在世界上首次报道于大鼠海马脑区发现“位置细胞（place cell）”，为空间认知现代研究奠基之作，现为英国皇家科学院与皇家医学院两院院士。2009年起于北京大学神经科学研究所万有教授课题组进行博士后工作，主要进行疼痛与针刺镇痛中枢神经网络机制与临床应用研究。，现为北京大学神经科学研究所研究员。
