在北京大学药学院相继获得理学学士和硕士学位后赴日本留学，在日本获得博士学位。目前任国家药典委员会委员，国家中医药局中药分析学重点学科体内药物分析方向的负责人，中华中医药学会中药分析委员会副秘书长和北京药学会药物分析分会委员，Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 和《中国中药杂志》编委。九三学社北京大学第二委员会委员、药学院支社副主委
研究领域
1.体内药物分析研究方向：各种生物样品（细胞、组织、动物等）中活性和毒性成分的分析方法研究。用色谱和色谱—质谱联用的方法分析活性（毒性）成分及代谢物的研究。马兜铃酸类成分体内外的分析方法及肾毒性的研究等。 研究特色：建立针对各种生物样品中药物及代谢产物的分析方法的研究；深入开展了马兜铃酸类毒性成分的体内分析、致毒及解毒机制的研究 2.中药分析方向：用HPLC指纹谱的分析手段对由于中药道地性、中药炮制、中药规格等的不同而引起的中药化学成分特征的变化的研究；基于生物活性的中药指纹谱的研究；基于现代技术的中药定性和定量的分析新技术和新方法的开发研究，如以1个对照品测定多种成分的“一测多评”方法的研究等。 研究特色：以引领生产优质中药为目的设计和开展中药分析研究；研究思路和方法创新，注重学科交叉。
