Wendy began lecturing in Further Education at Wigan and Leigh College, teaching on all levels of the professional qualifications for ACCA, CIMA, AAT and ICSA, in a variety of subjects, specializing in management accounting and was also course manager for the AAT and NVQ in Accounting, ACCA, and ICSA qualifications. Whilst at Wigan and Leigh College, she was a member of the Pilot Scheme Steering Group for the development of the NVQ in accounting qualification with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). Wendy joined Bangor University in 2007, firstly teaching on the ACCA and then also the CIMA programs at the Management Centre and then from2008, teaching on the undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the Business School.
