欧阳方平,男,1975年生,汉族,中共党员,教授/博士生导师/物理系主任。湖南省优秀博士学位论文、北京大学优秀博士后奖、湖南省杰出青年科学基金获得者。先后在湖南师范大学、中南大学/清华大学、北京大学和美国麻省理工学院进行本科、研究生、博士后、访问教授学习与研究工作。现为中南大学物理学和材料学博士生导师,纳米物理学与计算物理学科方向带头人,中南大学物理学本科专业建设负责人。中南大学\研究领域
