刘克东,男,1972年生,山东单县人,上海外国语大学博士,哈佛大学博士后,院教授会成员、学位分委员会委员、外语大类专业委员会委员;哈工大澳大利亚研究中心主任。曾任哈工大外语学院院长(2014.11.22-2020.7.1)、院教授会主任(2014.11-2020.7),校人力资源委员会委员(2014.11- )。曾访学美国、新加坡,曾去加拿大讲学。科研成果:在Journal of Literature and Art Studies,Forum for World Literature Studies, Journal of Cambridge Studies, Intercultural Communications Studies,《外国文学研究》《国外文学》《外国文学》《当代外国文学》《外国文学动态》《外语教学》《外语学刊》《山东外语教学》《天津外国语学院学报》《英美文学研究论丛》等刊物上发表论文50余篇 (其中A&HCI检索2篇,CSSCI检索8篇),在《外国文学》、《外国文艺》、《译林》等期刊上发表译文3篇、会议论文50余篇。出版专著1部,主编、参编教材、教参及论文集16部。主持教育部人文社科项目1项,黑龙江省社科基金项目4项,省教育厅人文社会科学项目1项,参加国家级、省级、校级项目20余项。表彰获奖:黑龙江省外语学科成果一等奖1项,黑龙江省第十八届社会科学优秀科研成果奖(二等奖)1项,黑龙江省第十六届社会科学优秀科研成果奖(三等奖)1项,黑龙江省第十四届社会科学优秀科研成果奖(佳作奖)1项,排名第2,黑龙江省高校人文社会科学研究优秀成果二等奖2项、三等奖1项;黑龙江省教学成果二等奖3项;黑龙江省翻译成果二等奖1项;哈尔滨工业大学教学成果一等奖1项(排名第2),二等奖2项;2012年度宝钢优秀教师奖,参与讲授的《英语文学》课程被评为校级优秀课程及省级精品课程(排名第二)。兼职教授:教育部国别和区域研究基地北京外国语大学加拿大研究中心客座教授;受邀讲座与主旨报告:曾受邀到北外、山东大学、中国海洋大学、宁夏大学、海南师范大学、中国石油大学、国际关系学院、鲁东大学、烟台大学、内蒙古民族大学、浙江科技学院、洛阳师院、合肥学院等高校做学术报告,曾于国际国内研讨会做大会发言20余次。曾于International Conference on 20th Century Literature in English from Cross-Cultural Perspectives,第16届中国澳大利亚研究国际学术研讨会,“建设性后现代主义与中国”国际学术研讨会(哈尔滨),International Symposium on Constructive Postmodernism and China (Harbin),The 3rd International Conference on Cognitive Poetics,The 4th International Conference on Cognitive Poetics,“现代主义和族裔文学”高端论坛暨学术研讨会,中国英语教学研究会第十四届年会(东北地区),中国英语教学研究会东北区第十八届年会暨黑龙江省外国语学会2016年年会等会议做大会主旨报告。

Brief Bio: Kedong Liu, Ph. D. is Professor of the English Department and Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), P. R. China. His research focuses on American Indian studies, Canadian literature, and British literature. He teaches Theory of Literature, Canadian Literature and collaborates with his colleagues in teaching Survey of British and American Literature. He is author of Toward Syncretism: A Thematic Trajectory of Sherman Alexie’s Novels (The Guangming Daily Press, 2011). He also served as co-editor of 20th Century English Literature (HIT Press, 2005), Classical English Short Stories (HIT Press, 2005), and Introduction to Canada (Harbin Engineering University Press, 2004). He has published more than 40 articles in English and Chinese.
