2010年6月留校从事科研和教学工作，2009年6月至9月赴瑞士巴塞尔自然历史博物馆和法国巴黎自然历史博物馆学习交流，2011年1月至2月赴俄罗斯科学院动物研究所进行学术交流。
研究领域
1. 昆虫多样性研究：包括昆虫多样性快速评估，有害昆虫监测，以及昆虫多样性资源保护与复育等工作2. 昆虫系统进化研究：主要以直翅目蟋蟀类昆虫为研究对象，开展进化分类与系统发育，以及相关动物地理学研究
