研究领域

果蝇学习记忆及抉择等认知功能的神经环路机制"以果蝇为模式动物，从基因-脑-行为-认知相结合的角度，研究学习、记忆、注意、抉择、认知灵活性等高级脑功能的神经环路及神经联结网络图谱。开创了果蝇的基于价值的两难抉择研究；发现了果蝇在视觉和嗅觉之间跨模态的记忆协同和传递，以及基于先期知识和经验的视觉特征模式识别和逆向学习机制等。在视觉图形—背景相对运动分辨的神经计算原理、复眼的颜色和偏振光视觉的生物物理机制方面也有重要研究成果。"
