""细胞膜是细胞的天然屏障,它把细胞与外界环境分离开来。细胞膜有许多重要的生物功能, 如物质隔离、物质交换和细胞通讯等。这些功能的实现主要是靠磷脂双层膜和分布在其上的糖蛋白完成的。目前细胞膜的单分子结构还没有完全清楚,尚处于模型假设阶段。当今经典的生物膜模型仍然是1972年Singer等提出的流动镶嵌模型。此模型提出跨膜蛋白随机的分散在磷脂双层膜中,蛋白质就像漂浮的小筏在磷脂层中随机流动,蛋白两端分别伸出细胞内外膜。然而近期的一些研究表明,流动镶嵌模型对一些生物膜现象并不能很好的解释,如信号转导中的多蛋白协作现象。因此一些改进的细胞膜模型已经被逐渐提出,如脂筏模型。事实上,生物膜结构的研究还远没有完善。这原因有很多,其一是细胞膜的复杂性,它是由多种膜蛋白(多达上百种)、脂类和糖类组成的超分子体系,结构十分复杂。其二是研究细胞膜方法的限制。本小组利用现场高分辨AFM、分子识别成像显微镜、荧光显微镜等为手段在生理条件下对生物膜结构进行了系统的研究,包括细胞膜的静态高分辨结构、细胞膜物质转运的动态过程、细胞膜内吞事件以及病毒侵染细胞的动态过程。""""
