主要成果：

近年来主持国家自然科学基金重点项目2项、国家重点研发计划项目1项。以通讯作者在Nature Microbiol, Nature Commun, Microbiome, ISME J, Environ Microbiol等发表论文100余篇，被引用4300余次。主编《海洋微生物学》（2007年第1版，2016年第2版）。两次获得海洋科学技术奖二等奖（第1位）。
