1984年9 月—1988年7月:青岛海洋大学水产养殖专业,学士。
1988年9 月—1991年7月:青岛海洋大学水产养殖专业,硕士。
1992年10月—1994年3月:日本东北大学农学部水产系,访问学者。
1994年4 月—1997年3月:日本东北大学农学部水产系,博士。
1997年4 月—1997年6月:日本农林水产省东北区水产研究所,访问学者。
1997年7 月—2000年4月:日本东北大学海洋生物资源教育研究中心,博士后。
2000年5 月—现在:中国海洋大学水产学院,任教授(2000.10-现在),博导
(2001.1-现在),水产养殖系主任(2003.6-2008.7),副院长(2005-2008.7),常务副院长(2008.8-2013.6),院长(2013.7至今)。
2001年1月—2003年1月:日本学术振兴会特邀研究员。

获奖情况
2004年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”,获“青岛市专业技术拔尖人才”荣誉称号;2012年入选山东省高等学校重点学科首席专家、山东省优秀研究生指导教师;2014年获评国务院政府特殊津贴专家、泰山学者种业计划专家。
