Zhong Chen is a professor of Department of Electronic Science, Department of Physics, Department of Chemistry, and State Key Laboratory for the Physical Chemistry of Solid Surfaces. He is currently the Dean of School of Electronic Science and Engineering (National Model Microelectronics College) at Xiamen University. He received the Ph.D. degree from Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, in 1993. From 1998 to 2001, he was a Senior Visiting Scholar with the Department of Image Science, University of Rochester.
