先后承担和参加了国家“八五”-“十五”科技攻关、国家973计划、国家863计划、国家自然科学基金、国家经贸委、湖北省、江苏省和河南省政府以及宝钢、武钢等课题研究。获国家科技进步二等奖2项,省级科技奖励一等奖3项、二等奖1项、三等奖1项,教育部科研成果1项,国家重点新产品1项。国家发明专利授权30项。在国内外重要刊物和学术会议上发表论文90余篇,参编著作2部。《耐火材料工艺学》国家精品课程、国家精品资源共享课程负责人和主讲教师之一。获宝钢优秀教师奖、湖北省十佳师德标兵、湖北省五一劳动奖章、湖北省有突出贡献中青年专家等荣誉。研究领域
