1997年在武汉大学化学系有机化学专业获理学博士学位;1999年3月至2002年9月期间先后在香港科技大学化学系、美国新奥尔良大学(University of New Orleans)化学系、美国罗切斯特大学(University of Rochester)化学系进行博士后研究;1999年6月任武汉大学化学系副教授,2003年10月任武汉大学化学与分子科学学院教授;2010.7-9在英国剑桥大学化学系作访问教授。获奖与荣誉2008年湖北省自然科学奖一等奖2003年湖北省青年科技奖2008年、2010年获蓝月亮优秀研究生导师奖研究领域
