个人简历
Wenbo was born and raised in Yan’an––the RED Capital of China [the center of the Chinese Communist revolution from 1936 to 1948, and the birthplace of the revolution, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yan%27an], Shaanxi Province. During the period in the Yixing Middle School, Jiangsu Province (江苏省宜兴中学), he had strong scientific interests in physicals, a large factor of that came from the amazing classes in general physicals delivered by Mr. Xiaozi Jin (金小滋先生). Then, (un)fortunately, he was admitted to Nankai University in Chemistry and completed his B.S. in 2006 under the direction of Professor Hong Li ( 李弘教授). Wenbo then went to Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC), Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he did his Ph. D. studies under the supervision of Professor Li-Xin Dai ( 戴立信院士) and Professor Shu-Li You (游书力研究员). Wenbo investigated the asymmetric iridium-catalyzed allylic substitutions and led to the development of a new class of iridium catalysts derived from the N-aryl phosphoramidites (i.e., THQ Phos). Upon completion of his graduate studies in 2011 and a short stay as a research associate in SIOC, Wenbo moved to the Unites States as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the laboratory of Professor Brian Stoltz at Caltech, being involved in asymmetric catalysis and quaternary carbon formation chemistry. Together with the Grubbs group, he also worked on the potassium base catalysis and mechanism studies. In February of 2016, Wenbo Returned to Wuhan University as a Professor of Chemistry.\r\rEDUCATION and RESEARCH EXPERIENCES\rFebruary 2016 – present Professor of Chemistry College of Chemistry and Molecule Sciences, Wuhan University\rJanuary 2012 – February 2016 Postdoctoral Fellow, with Prof. Brian M.
