个人简历

先后获得武汉大学微生物学专业学士和硕士学位后于1988年留校任教；1997年晋升为副教授；2002年在职获得博士学位；2004年晋升为教授 ，2005年遴选为博士生导师；曾赴美国、日本的多所高校交流访问；现为中国微生物学会常务理事、“微生物学通报”杂志副主编；“生物资源”杂志编委会副主任；教育部大学生物学课程教学指导委员会秘书长；中国微生物学会教学工作委员会主任；中国遗传学会微生物遗传学专业委员会副主任；中国微生物学会基础微生物学专业委员会委员、中国微生物学会分子微生物学与生物工程专业委员会委员、湖北省暨武汉微生物学会常务理事、湖北省遗传学会常务理事；国家级教学团队负责人；湖北名师奖获得者；

研究领域

1、通过自然遗传转化过程进行的细菌细胞间水平基因转移；2、极端嗜盐古菌溶源病毒与宿主细胞间的相互作用机制；3、细菌黑色素的基础和应用研究，特别是中间气单胞菌WS菌株的黑色素形成分子机理解析和应用开发；
