研究主要集中在:以新药研发为导向、过渡金属催化为工具、解决有机合成(特别是药物合成)中的难题。尤其关注:1) 化学反应中的反应性和选择性;2) 药物研发中新结构和新先导合成;3) 具有重要生理活性分子的合成及生物活性研究。设计了一系列氮配体,首次实现了铱催化的不对称碳氢键硼化和硅化反应,并将其应用在药物和天然产物分子多样化合成。截至目前,以第一作者在Science,Acc. Chem. Res., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Org. Lett., J. Agric. Food. Chem.等发表论文近20余篇。
