1994年6月,华中科技大学,光电子工程系,获得博士学位。 1994年-1996年,于华中科技大学电工博后站从事博士后研究。 1996年至今,任教于华中科技大学、武汉光电国家实验室,历任讲师、副教授、教授。 其中: 2000年9月-2001年9月,香港科技大学电子与电机工程系, 访问学者 2005年6月-2005年12月,加拿大渥太华大学微波光子学实验室,高级访问学者 2008年7月-2008年10月,香港理工大学电子与电机工程系, 高级访问学者研究领域
