研究内容简介:

(1)微型底栖动物生态学:
微型动物主要包括单细胞原生动物(如草履虫),个体微小(20-200μm),分布广泛,主要以细菌、微藻和碎屑为食,在微食物网处于从pico-和nano-级向后生动物传递物质和能量的枢纽环节。单细胞动物由于体表保护性不完善,对环境变化反应较多细胞动物更为敏感。同时,由于繁殖周期短,对环境改变反应也更加迅速。因此,其群落结构具有良好的环境指示作用。我的研究主要利用Ludox-QPS(密度梯度离心结合定量蛋白银染色)方法对潮间带微型底栖动物群落的时空分布格局进行研究,以揭示其群落结构对海岸带环境变化(如富营养胁迫、重金属污染、互花米草入侵、盐沼植被生态修复等)的响应。
(2)微型动物生物地理学:
近年来对微型动物大尺度分布格局及限制因子的研究是生物地理学领域的研究热点。国际上对微型动物的分布格局一直存在两个观点:一种是认为相较于大型动物,微型动物由于极高的种群密度,因而扩散不受限制,全球分布,仅受环境条件的限制;而另一种观点则认为微型动物和大型动物一样,其分布受到扩散距离和环境条件的双重限制。我的研究结合野外样品采集和数据库收集,采用变异拆分分析方法对区域尺度的微型底栖动物群落beta多样性的限制因子进行探究。
