Alexandra Potier joined ECNU in September 2018. Since then she has been teaching French for undergraduate students.Previously, Alexandra taught French and supervised languages programmes at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2015 to 2018. She also has been teaching French and English in several countries and was a language coordinator in London at Regents University for 7 years. In the United Kingdom she taught at Kings College and Imperial College. She is regularly involved in language teachers training across all continents and has conducted several workshops in South America, the Middle East, Asia and Europe. She has a deep connection with Nepal where she worked as teacher trainer at Kathmandu University from 2013 to 2014 and regularly works as a volunteer teachers’ trainer in Nepal since 2011. Before moving to China, she worked in Myanmar as a trainer for teachers’ trainers at a Normal University in 2014 and 2015 for the British Council and VSO (Volunteer Service Overseas). Alexandra is also the author of several textbooks for young learners of French. She is especially interested in storytelling and how folktales and stories can be used for teaching young learners. In 2013 she was the editor for a collection of ethnic (Limbu) folktales from Eastern Nepal. She graduated in Educational Psychology and holds a Master Degree in Applied Linguistics from the Stendhal University in Grenoble, France. Alexandra Potier于2018年9月加入华东师范大学。从那时起，她一直在为法语系本科生教授法语。Alexandra曾于2015年至2018年在上海交通大学教授法语。还曾在几个国家教授法语和英语，并在伦敦丽晶大学担任语言协调员七年。她曾在英国国王学院和帝国学院任教。她定期参与各大洲的语言教师培训，并在南美、中东、亚洲和欧洲举办了几次讲习班。她与尼泊尔有着深厚的联系，2013年至2014年，她在加德满都大学担任培训师，2011年起，她定期在尼泊尔担任教师志愿者培训师。在移居中国之前，她曾在缅甸为一所师范大学的教师培训部工作，她还分别于2014年和2015年为英国文化委员会和海外志愿服务组织（VSO）工作。Alexandra同时也是一名少儿法语学习教科书的作者。她特别钟爱讲故事并一直致力于将民间故事用于学生的教学之中。2013年，她编辑了尼泊尔东部一个民族民间故事集。 Alexandra与教育心理学专业毕业。在法国格勒诺布尔的司汤达大学获得应用语言学硕士学位。
