1958年生，教授，博士生导师，教育部跨世纪优秀人才。1996-1998 年在美国耶鲁大学做博士后研究。现任复旦大学医学神经生物学国家重点实验室主任、教授，博士生导师，中国生理学会神经科学委员会委员，生理学报常务编委，European Journal of Neuroscience、Neuropharmacology、Neuroscience Bulletin、中国药理学报、生物化学与生物物理学报、生物化学与生物物理进展等杂志审稿人
