实验室采用结构生物学、主要是生物大分子晶体学的方法,在原子尺度上研究细胞内重要分子机器的组装和调控机制。实验室近期开展了叶绿素合成途径中的酶及其调控蛋白的结构生物学研究。主要围绕谷氨酰-tRNA还原酶和镁螯合酶,探讨该途径中两个关键节点的催化与调控的分子基础。实验室也开展了对金属蛋白和蛋白-核酸相互作用的研究。
